Seven Council Grant Programs have opened for applications this week.

Housing Support Program

Provides funds to community organisations for projects or services that respond to the housing and social needs of homeless people, or those living in social housing, in the inner north of Brisbane.  

Applicants can apply for an amount between $500 and $10,000

Community Development and Capacity Building Grants Program

Provides funds to community organisations to improve and develop services that respond to local and city-wide issues in Brisbane.  

Applicants can apply for an amount between $2,000 and $10,000

Healthy and Physical Activity Grants Program

Provides funds to community organisations for projects to increase participation in community sport, recreation and physical activity in Brisbane.  

Applicants can apply for an amount between $2,000 and $10,000

Community History Grants Program

Provides funds to community organisations for projects relating to Brisbane’s history and heritage.  

Applicants can apply for an amount between $2,000 and $10,000

Lord Mayor’s Helen Taylor Award for Local History

Honouring the work of the late historian Helen Taylor one award is given annually to a history student or independent researcher whose work focuses on Brisbane’s history, or a particular aspect of it.  

Applicants can apply for a maximum grant of $10,000

Access and Inclusion Community Partnership Program (12/13 Round 2)

Provides funds to community organisations, groups and networks for projects or services that improve access and inclusion in Brisbane.  

Applicants can apply for an amount between $2,000 and $50,000

Lord Mayor’s Young and Emerging Artists Fellowships

This program supports young and emerging Brisbane artists aged between 17 and 30 to develop their careers.
