Leeroy attended the Get Set for Work program at Ohana / SCISCO in Palm Beach and was one of the many people who completed a survey to inform our Re-engagement Project.

Shout out also to Ohana / SCISCO for getting back so many surveys to YANQ!

YANQ has been contracted by the Brisbane North Medicare Local to explore how to improve access to primary health care services for young people in the Brisbane North region. A component of this work is to detail the scope of two trial projects that will go some way in improving access to primary health services to young people particularly those young people that have been traditionally marginalised from these services.

The two pilot projects include:
  • the development of mobile applications for young people on primary health issues and services
  •  exploration of GP access service models that address the barriers for young people gain access to GP services

YANQ is very interested in hearing the views of youth services and primary health care providers in the development of these two pilot through conducting a focus group and providing the opportunity for individual interviews.
