Cancer Council Queensland invites young people to participate in an exciting event... Youth Tobacco Free Day. Youth Tobacco Free Day will occur on 19 March and is the one day of the year dedicated to encouraging young people (10 to 25 years) to quit smoking or prevent them from taking up smoking.
In 2010, the theme of Youth Tobacco Free Day is “How much is smoking REALLY costing you?”. It aims to educate young people about the financial costs of smoking, but also the cost to their appearance, fitness and social life.
We encourage the youth of Queensland to visit www.OxyGen.org.au to vote on tobacco issues affecting young people, play online games and go in the draw to win great prizes.
A poster is available for free download at http://www.cancerqld.org.au/icms_docs/YTFD_2010_poster.pdf. You are welcome to use this to promote Youth Tobacco Free Day. We appreciate your support in delivering this important anti-smoking message to young people. |
