Message from Graham Martin, Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, University of Queensland
If you know of someone who
self-injures, is 18-25, lives around Brisbane, and is really serious
about trying to stop their self- injury, we are offering a course of
10 free therapy sessions starting this month. Participants will be
reimbursed expenses and something toward their time. We ran a trial
last year, and anecdotally the results were very good, but the
numbers were too small for us to make statistical sense. So we are
attempting the program again, with Ethics approval from the University of Queensland.
