We want your help to recruit as many people as we can as 'supporters' of
equal access for young people with disabilities. The more supporters
we have, the more likely that we can convince Federal and/or State
Government Departments to fund a service that can advocate with and for young people with disabilities.
If you have a Facebook account, you can use it to spread the word and encourage people to support this campaign. It won't cost you or your friends anything, except a few minutes.
There are at least two ways you can use your Facebook account to help us spread the word. We won't complain if you decide to use both of these strategies...
- Log into your Facebook account and in the 'What's on your mind' box
type something like:
Inviting all my friends to support
equality for young people with disabilities in Queensland. Sign up
and get more info at http://ww.yanq.org.au/ydaq.
You can type whatever you want - just make sure you provide a
link back to the Youth Disability Advocacy page on YANQ's website so
that your friends can get more information and register.
It would be fantastic if you could post a message like this on a
regular basis - say once a week or once a month.
- Join (and invite your friends to join) the new Youth
Disability Advocacy Queensland group (http://is.gd/nZfG).
This can be a place for those of you on Facebook to connect directly
with each other and share information and ideas.
Other Ideas?
If you have other ideas you would like us to share with other YDAQ
supporters, please let us know - you can email Bob
