In this response to issues raised in the 1st quarter of 2007, the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing provide information on:

• The National Illicit Drugs Strategy;
• The National Mental Health Strategy and initiatives funded under it; and
  
• The National Suicide Prevention Strategy.
