Course Duration – we invariably try to complete each course inside of 12 months. Students with a higher core skill level tend to complete the course within 6 months. DETA will not issue any qualifications under 6 months from date of signup however.
Eligibility – if you are able to send me full names, DOB and applicable course, I will conduct an eligibility check with an Australian Apprentice Centre (AAC) and come back to you within 48hrs with acceptances. After this a signup date with the students, AAC and Major is arranged at a convenient time for all to be present for registration with DETA and course commencement. No company owner or director is eligible.
Costs – There is no costs to BYS as this is a fully funded federal govt incentive for eligible existing workers of $4000 each
Payment – On commencement of each student, Major will invoice your organisation $1500, who in turn will complete an claim form for each student with the AAC for reimbursement and when the AAC pays your organisation, the company then immediately forwards this payment onto Major. On completion of each student Major will invoice the remaining $2500 and the same process repeats itself with the AAC.
Training Procedure – Students will have access to their own personal management trainer, who will train, mentor and assess their work and assignments on completion of each unit to a competent standard, meeting with them on the job. The next workbook is then issued and trained and the process repeats itself to completion of the course. Students work self paced individually or in groups providing they are doing the same units.
Resources – The RTO issues training workbooks for each unit and encourage them to use the internet, emails, phone and work with students face-to-face. We also offer working templates, PowerPoint slides, Google search and direction to YouTube videos.
On completion a corresponding Certificate or Diploma is issued to each student by the RTO with a commendation certificate from the Qld Govt and corresponding letter of congratulations. If anyone in your organization would like to take advantage of this opportunity, I can come and discuss it further with the relevant team members.
