During
2005 and 2006 a team of researchers from Griffith University were engaged by the Queensland Department of Education and the Arts to examine the transition practices and post-school outcomes for students with disability. The researchers undertook
a literature review and analysis of how Queensland schools deliver educational
outcomes for young people with disabilities as they complete school and move onto other activities.
The executive summary of the final report from this project is now available:
Quality Outcomes for Students with A Disability: Transition Practices & Post School Outcomes in Queensland Schools - Executive Summary (231k ).
NB: YANQ has written to the Minister for Education & Training (the Hon Rod Welford MP) seeking a copy of the full report, rather than just a summary.
