Child Protection Week call for nominations
Wednesday, 02 June 2010 08:49

The Queensland Child Protection Week Committee is now calling for nominations in the 2010 Child Protection Awards. Individuals and groups who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the wellbeing and protection of Queensland children and young people are being asked to nominate.

The CPW Awards are an annual event, held during Child Protection Week (first week of September) and acknowledge the dedication, hard work and commitment of many individuals and organisations towards the protection of children and young people in Queensland. The Awards are one way that we are able to publicly acknowledge the people in Queensland who make significant contributions to the prevention of child harm and neglect in our communities and help to achieve improved wellbeing for our children. The presentation ceremony for the CPW Awards will be held at Parliament House in conjunction with the launch of Child Protection Week on 2 September 2010.
