12^th August 2010 marks the start of the International Year of Youth. This year’s theme is “Dialogue and Mutual Understanding”. With this theme in mind, the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition  (AYAC) is calling for more attention and commitment to “closing the gap” for Australia’s Indigenous young people, and calls upon the major political parties to make a stronger commitment to closing the gap in the lead up to the federal election.  Read the media release here.
