The Youth Affairs Network of Qld is the peak body for the community youth affairs sector in Queensland.
We represent individuals and organisations from Queensland's youth sector by networking and consulting with young people, lobbying and campaigning, promoting youthwork resources and supporting youth workers, organising trainings and forums, and undertaking research into better youthwork practice. We advocacte to government and community on behalf and with young people in Queensland, especially disadvantaged young people.
  
YANQ believes that the Traditional Custodians and primary Culture of Australia is Aboriginal. Aboriginal Lore has always ruled this Land.
We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) cultures as distinct, separate cultures. We acknowledge Torres Strait Islander peoples as Custodians of the Torres Strait Islands and surrounding waters.
