If you wish to submit an article for an edition of new Transitions, please review the guidelines below.
| Content |
Keep
writing simple and straightforward and avoid jargon! Keep in mind that new Transitions is aimed at a non-academic readership that appreciates articles written in plain english.
Please include an
introduction, sub-headings (where possible) and a conclusion.

| Length |
Anywhere
between 2-5 pages or 1,000-3,000 words (length is negotiable). |
|
References |
Please use the Documentary-note system for your references (e.g. Vancouver style). List
only the sources to which reference is made (this is not intended as
a bibliography) and in the foot/endnotes include the author's name, year of publication, title,
place of publication and name of publisher.

| Photos |
We
would greatly appreciate any photos, illustrations, graphs or charts
that you can provide to go with your article. |
|
Profile |
At
the end of each article we like to include a brief about each author. Could you please outline:
- your
current position of work
- brief
relevant work history, and
- particular
areas of interest (no more than 5 sentences)

Format |
Articles must be in either Open Document (e.g. using OpenOffice.org) or MS Word 97-2003 format.

| Reviewed |
All
articles submitted will be reviewed by the editorial committee.
Articles may be accepted for publication, returned for revision or
rejected. The Editor's decision is final. |
