Submission to the Review of Education (General Provisions) Act (1989)
Policy Submissions
Friday, 31 March 2006

During 2005 and 2006 the Queensland Government's Department of Education announced plans to amend the Education (General Provisions) Act (1989).  This Act governs education in Queensland and how it is delivered to young people.

Below are two submissions that YANQ made in relation to the proposed changes to the Act.  The first submission (March 2005) was in response to a consultation paper that was released late in 2004.  The second submission was made in March 2006, in response to the detailed Draft Education (General Provisions) Bill.
