These three reports by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian, Queensland
document the views of children and young people in
alternative care in Queensland. Although the majority in foster care
and residential care feel that they are better off since coming into
care, data also highlighted a range of system issues that can impact
negatively on the care experience.
