The Participation of Children and Young People in Emergencies captures examples of children's involvement in the
tsunami disaster response and recovery phases, as collected by UNICEF
and a wide array of partners and UN agencies. While a large portion of
the material in this guide refers to the December 2004 tsunami, the
guide also includes examples of children's participation in emergencies
drawn from elsewhere to show how their actions in the tsunami were not
isolated.
Before deciding on evaluation methods, questions, or anything else, it
is important to focus your evaluation by establishing a common goal or
purpose—one that accords with organizational values and goals. This toolkit from the Innovation Center for Community and Youth Development provides a system for establishing and evaluating such goals.

written and illustrated by Czenya Cavouras, who is now (2007) in high school. The book is published by Australians Against Racism. In the book, an unseen,
unnamed narrator takes us on a journey through fear, uncertainty and
despair to hope.
The Australian Drug Foundation has recently updated the Drinking diary.
This updated booklet still contains a diary for monitoring drinking
behaviours as well as guidelines for identifying harmful drinking
behaviour and ways to change drinking behaviours. The pocket-sized Drinking diary,
may be a useful resource for people who are concerned about their
drinking patterns and people who wish to either reduce their alcohol
consumption or quit drinking.
Beyond "That's so Gay"is a short paper that discusses a range of strategies that can be used to combat homophobia. According to the author "It seems thewonders of mass media have joined forces with our fear, hatred and ignorance in relation to homosexuality in order to create a new derogatory term for just aboutanything – the all-pervasive ‘gay’."

booklet includes information and photographs of the most commonly used
legal and illegal drugs including alcohol, amphetamines, analgesics
(painkillers), benzodiazepines, cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, GHB,
hallucinogens, heroin, inhalants, ketamine and tobacco.
Girls With A Purpose is a program that aims to help young women develop
self worth, a positive identity and sense of purpose.
The Girls With A Purpose Facilitator’s Manual helps youth workers and
teachers to implement a relevant life skills program with teenage girls. The
program discusses a range of topics including: communication, goal planning, relationships, sexual health, violence and abuse, beauty,
help-seeking and self-esteem.
