Bullying. No way! pocket cards have been printed for all Year 6 to 10 students nationally. These cards are being distributed to all schools in Queensland for their Year 6 to 10 students, along with an information sheet with suggestions for teachers and schools on how to use the pocket cards and the website. Schools should receive their Bullying. No way! student pocket cards early in Term 3 2007.

Through the Cracks

Through The Cracks is a DVD/CDROM package that has been designed by the Youth Support Coordinators at The Spot Youth Services to assist people that work with young people. It focuses on the key areas of Homelessness, Self Harm and Bullying, and enables participants to better understand and identify with these issues. It is our desire that your schools become a safer place for these young people as a result.

The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria recently released a report based on a forum about bullying which was held in 2009. The Sticks and Stones and Mobile Phones forum featured a presentation on Bullying and Peer Relationships: What We Need to Know by Dr. Barbara Spears (Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, University of South Australia).

In an effort to understand more about cyber-bullying - i.e. its prevalence, impact on and response of young people - BoysTown have been conducting online research with young people who have been victim to cyber-bullying.  Stage 1 of the research is currently underway, and to-date has received 402 completed responses.
